REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
- Registration open until 11:59 PM on 04/04/2024 (Thursday) at $75.00 per racer or until sold out (cap @ 250 participants).
- The registration fee includes partner swag bag and post-race party with lunch and a beverage.
- MANDATORY Packet Pickup Friday night! Racers must check in to pick up their bib on the evening of Friday April 5th from 5:00-6:00pm at the Steamboat tent in Steamboat tent in Steamboat square. If you need to make special arrangements for an early bib pick up Saturday morning, please email Heidi Barbee at hbarbee@steamboat.com for instructions.
- Lift tickets at $75 will also be available during Cody Challenge registration. This will be available online only, so be sure to purchase it right then! This is limited to one per participant.

ABOUT CODY'S CHALLENGE:
Cody’s Challenge is Steamboat Springs’ first and only Randonnée race! Every year, there are more races added to the calendar throughout Colorado, but we challenge you to find one with more heart. This is more than your typical big ascent, heart pumping race.
Born from a French tradition to honor Ski Patrollers who passed away, race coordinator Kyle Lawton, has done just that with the help of his fellow Steamboat Ski Patrollers. When asked about his inspiration for Cody’s Challenge, Lawton said, “It is truly remarkable how many people Cody touched with his kindness, enthusiasm for life, spiritualism, and his respect for the environment. We hope this race has the same impact and touches as many people as Cody did during his life.”
Cody’s Challenge is for everyone, from the professional racer to the first timer, and we encourage everyone and anyone to participate. A portion of the proceeds go to The Cody St. John Foundation, which awards scholarships to Professional Ski Patrollers for continuing medical education. Join us this year for a great day of fun, and help us continue to support our Ski Patrollers!
